Friday, Nov 14, 7:30pm – in the sanctuary

“Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young — a place near your altar, O LORD Almighty, my King and my God.”
–Psalm 84.3

“A place near your altar,” that’s the heart of a child of God. We always desire to be in that place of God’s presence. At retreats, especially the final night, we reach for it and find it. Has He not been so faithful to us? What we’re attempting on these Friday nights is to do what He would want: to draw upon Him more. We all have so much we need. Let us turn those needs into songs of worship and cries of supplication. It will be a time of unhurried praise and restful prayer. We want to come together to be near God and each other. This is what church is basically about. We want to find all that we need in Him, and then share abundantly with each other. Come join us as we seek the face of God and to see more of Him in each other. “In our world, in our lives, in our church–be lifted high Lord Jesus!”

In the Hope of God,
Edward
