Update: B. & H. (SE Asia)

March 31, 2010

Dear friends,

Happy Easter! We praise God for his faithfulness and goodness to us these past few months. We’ve been relatively healthy, even throughout B.’s frequent travels. The kids seem to be enjoying school and daily life.

This month B. attended two separate conferences where he spent time with diverse people working among cousins in different parts of the world. It was wonderful to have fellowship with workers in similar situations, with similar goals. This has been a great encouragement for us to press forward with making the Word available to as many cousins as possible, in languages and media that really reach their ears and hearts.

As we are reminded by Hebrews 12, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”

Please pr. on our behalf:

– For steadiness and patience on our parts as we juggle our various roles, and that we know how much time and energy to devote to the different tasks and people we’re responsible for.

– That we will remain focused on long-term goals and developments while also responding to the more immediate needs and demands of each day.

– Please also pray for our financial situation. We need to raise additional support soon, and we are praying that God will provide through individuals or congregations who know about our work.
May you hope in the risen one,

B. & H.
