noreSERVations’ Thai Cooking Class

Saturday’s noreSERVations’ Thai cooking class was a “downright success”.  Our sisters, Sharon L. and Soy led the eager students through their famous-Thai Red Curry and famous-Thai Fried Rice respectively.  Everything was covered in detail from the basics of chopping vegetables and slicing the chicken against the grain to the use of cold rice and whisking the woks.

The foods were not only a visual delight, but also extremely flavorful.  The cold and crispy cucumber slices dipped in hot-chillied fish sauce provided a complementing textures and flavors.  The conversations were meaningful and the evening well-spent.  Thanks for all who attended and we hope to see more folks in the kitchen sometime soon.  Thanks also  for your continuing prayer for this limb of NHF’s ministry.

    Thanks John Hahn & Robin for graciously hosting and even handwashing kids’ swimsuits (you had to be there to get it). DK, I will make a vat of the curry for you & Jenn 🙂
